History

The company was originally formed in 1955 and around that time became a franchised dealer for Citroen cars. The business continued at Cross Deep, Twickenham in the name of Ferden and Birch.

In June 1986 Terry Bollingmore and his wife June purchased the company, renaming it Bollingmores whilst retaining the Citroen franchise. Terry Bollingmore brought with him 20 years worth of motor trade experience, having worked with other dealerships and vehicle manufacturers.

Bollingmores soon outgrew the premises resulting in the relocation of the servicing and parts operations to a larger factory site in Teddington during May 1992.

In 1999 Bollingmores purchased Herds Motor Group Citroen Dealership in Ashford, Middlesex. The Vehicle Sales operation transferred to the Staines Road West site and included the addition of another servicing operation in Spelthorne Lane.

The year 2001 saw Bollingmores consolidate its servicing and parts operations by transferring the Teddington facilities to Ashford, having bought Motor Wise (an additional company), after which Teddington was sold.

The company added a Peugeot Authorised Repairer and Parts Distributorship at Ashford in 2007, which it still holds today together with an MOT testing station.

The business is currently managed by a board of directors and is headed by Terry Bollingmore, all of whom have considerable motor trade experience. This team has worked closely together for many years and are fully committed to delivering the highest levels of customer service.
